VINTAGE RADIO

Personal relationships may come and go but the memories of that one special love affair lasts forever. As with dewy eyes and scarcely concealed emotion one recalls that all time favourite receiver. The long hours spent hunched over warm glowing valves, caressing the tuning knob deep into the night, until finally you got ‘Old Reliable’ to pull that illusive contact out of the QRN. Now that is the type of true friend we should all cherish!

Thus follows an ocasional series from our members about one or more memorable receivers they have built, owned, dumped or just used as a doorstop in the shack!
