Can you help these guys?

Dear All
I've joined CARC last month and I've got already a question for you all! I wish to operate my station somewhere near the sea coast (G/F8CKH/P) and I'm basically looking for any advices/infos about good places to go.
I would like to experiment VHF/UHF in portable operations and maybe catch some French Amateur Radio fellows on the 2 meters or 70 cms...
I've been around NewHaven / Brighton etc but it seemed hard to find a nice place to go and where I could use my power generator, set up my 9 ele VHF / G5RV HF and start playing with my radio... Especially with all
the National Parks around!!! ;-(

So if you have any tips, advices, feel free to reply.

Antoine, G/F8CKH

Hi name this way is Garry, just been trawling google and yahoo trying to find info on fault finding for the Yaesu ft726, up came your web page, amongst others, nice setup you guys got there, also noticed you have a Yaesu ft726 mainframe also, I went to use mine last night and at switch on the freq display didnt come on, switch it on again and on comes the frequency display but no rx, to name but a few of the symptoms, do you chaps know of any fault finding sites that actually work or have you come across this problem with your 726 yourselves, I would be gratefull for any info.

tnx and 73 for now de Garry g4fjq or m3sxe@hotmail.com
