Wanted
Anyone got surplus to requirements, one of those small rectangular twin-meter relative power/SWR meters common in days gone by in CB circles, but also sold to radio amateurs like the SMC T3-170 working over 3.5-170MHz.
Only need it for the left hand power meter scaled 0-100/0-50W to replace a damaged similar sized meter in an Italian built compact HF linear I am renovating. Contact Derek G3GRO at the CARC Clubroom or on 01293 520424 or email me at derek.atter@blueyonder.co.uk

Paraset identifiaction please

Dear Sir, My apologies if you find this email inappropriate, but I was wondering if you could help me to identify a vintage radio that I recently found in the attic. It used to belong to my father, and he got it from a radio amateur that he knew in the 1940s-1950s.

I didn't think much of it, as I'm no expert in this kind of equipment (I'm a physicist).

I googled for a while and it looks like it was a "" transmitter, which was apparently used by British parachute brigades and spies during WW2. I also noticed that many people are making replicas. But is this a real one, or a replica? It has a serial number (2571), but no label or mark (not on the inside either). It seems that all the valves and components are US made, so I'm wondering if it's really British.

I'm not interested in keeping this (don't get me wrong, I'm soliciting here), but I'd like to know what I've got here before I can sell it. Thanks for your help.
